Individuals thrive when living in their own home, eating what they like to eat and doing activities that they want to do. We understand this. That’s why Advocates for Independence assists our clients in finding the best location for their health and safety with the least restrictions, creating an environment which offers each individual independent living and joy.

Along with helping clients find housing within the community of their choice, we help our clients navigate the sometimes complex social services network, including filling out forms, applying for Medicaid services such as Food Stamps, coordinating medical care and arranging transportation to medical appointments, shopping and social activities. In other words, we help our clients live as independently as they can, while ensuring that they live in a safe, clean and fully supported environment.
