Advocates for Independence is Utah’s premier New Choices Waiver case management company dedicated to helping you or your loved one experience the joy of living independently.

The New Choices Waiver program is open to Medicaid recipients who are currently residing long-term in a nursing home and meet the new Choices Waiver criteria.

The Program is also available to individuals living in an assisted living facility that meet the medical requirements for nursing home care, meet the criteria for the New Choices Waiver Program and are eligible for Medicaid.

The New Choices Waiver is PRIMARILY about moving people from skilled nursing to the living situation of their choice with the services of their choice that meet their needs.
